Research shows that a candidate’s level of cognitive ability helps to predict job performance, job satisfaction, voluntary turnover, and training performance as well as counter-productive work behaviours. In more complex jobs such as managerial or specialist roles, cognitive ability has an even higher impact.
Matrigma is a classic cognitive ability test used to predict career success and job performance. Cognitive ability concerns, among other things, a person’s aptitude for accurate problem solving, logical reasoning and the ability to grasp new information – capabilities that are critical in the world of work.
Matrigma is built on a modern and secure web platform, delivered online and consists of 35 items with a 40 minute time limit. Its test results will help you predict behaviours such as critical reasoning skills, clear thinking, learning skills and sound decision making. High scoring candidates are often rated as high performers at work. They are effective in dealing with complex job tasks, require less attention from their supervisors, and can handle a high pace at work.
Delegates registered for the eLearning training will be taken through a web-based course. The course contains six sections with the last section being a quiz (70% pass mark) and takes approximately 60 min to complete. The content of the course has a high degree of interactivity as well as a speaker voice; therefore delegates need to enable sound on their computer. It’s necessary to work on a computer with a reliable internet connection.
