Career Exploration – a lifelong event (Campbell & Ungar, 2004b:34)
|Date||: 30 November 2017|
|Event Type||: Webinar|
|Time||: 17:00 – 18:00|
Creating a career identity and path are dependent on your clients’ ability to critically look at their past, present and future. As career practitioner (teacher/parent) you should provide your client with appropriate methods, exercises and tools (qualitative and quantitative) to ensure they form a holistic picture of themselves and their ideal career path.
In this webinar we will briefly look at the various quantitative and qualitative approaches within career processes and how we propose to combine these methods practically. We will give tips and tricks on how you could facilitate career conversations at home (at
school) but also at work with colleagues and co-workers. Career choice is not something that happens once or twice and you can't always revert to a psychologist for advice so we will look at practically what that means to a broad audience interested in career exploration.
