Entrepreneurship: How self-aware are you?
|Time||: 08:30 – 16:00|
|Length of Training||: 1 Day|
|Type of Training||: One day workshop|
Who should attend
Anyone who is interested in understanding the hard wiring of successful entrepreneurs and how this reflects in their leadership style. The focus of the workshop is on self-discovery and self-learning, with the main aim of creating self-awareness within the space of entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurial activity is essential in creating employment. This is true all over the world but particularly so in the developing world and definitely also in South Africa. It is a well-known fact that the vast majority of entrepreneurial businesses fail within the first five years of starting.
A variety of factors impact the potential success of these kind of businesses. Understanding the make-up of true entrepreneurs, their leadership style, and how they manage the context and the life cycles of the business can provide relevant insight into these factors. In addition, these insights may create valuable opportunity for coaching and support.
The META (Measure of Entrepreneurial Talent and Abilities) provides a scientific validated assessment of entrepreneurial potential. The aim of this interactive workshop is to use delegates’ own META assessment results to explore entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial leadership potential. Insight into their own results will support them in (a) understanding their own strengths and stretches in terms of entrepreneurial efforts, and (b) understanding the strengths and stretches of their clients and guide those who seek coaching in their quest to building business and creating employment.
