Leadership and management are often considered practically overlapping concepts. But are they? Is there a difference between the two concepts, or is leadership a facet of management and therefore cannot be separated? Most organizations, including large corporations, academia, leadership theorists, researchers and authors are concerned about the difference and believe it is important. This workshop will compare Management with Leadership to try and find an answer to these questions. In addition, various theories on motivation will be discussed, and delegation, an important aspect in both management and leadership, will be addressed. Regular exercises throughout the workshop will assist the delegates in deepening their practical understanding and usefulness of these concepts.
In this course you will:
Individuals and business professionals who want to improve on their managerial and leadership skills.
