Many of the world’s authorities on Leadership stress the importance of focusing on individuals’ strengths.
This does not imply that one should overlook weaknesses. Closing the gap on weaknesses that could lead to real problems is important, but so is seeking and using individual strengths within a team. The research and business case for engaged staff through strengths focus is remarkably convincing
Individual strengths within a team is what provides energy, momentum, and delivery. Strengths however, used in excess may have a downside as well, which is important to be aware of
This 2 day workshop is designed for anyone in a leadership/management position, and provides a practical skill set to harness individual strengths within a team context
The strength areas are Emotional, Relational, Thinking and Execution, and within these 4 areas are 24 specific strengths.
Strengthscope leaderAssessments (at a nominal rate) are recommended, and individual feedback is provided to all delegates based on the outcome. The top 7 strengths are prioritised and the information used for self- insight and application in the workplace. The assessment highlights a leader’s unique strengths and identifies potential performance risks.
In addition to the strengths, we cover the essentials of a team leading towards high performance, basics of any team, characteristics of a high performing team, and using the team’s collective wisdom in solving problems
