Peek-A-Boo, which Type are you? Personality Type and Parenting
|Date||: 21 September 2017|
|Event Type||: Webinar|
|Time||: 17:00 – 18:00|
As parents we often think that (all) our children should be small versions of ourselves – after all, they share our genetic make-up and grow up in our living space. But don’t you sometimes wonder…where on earth does this child come from, and why is he or she so different from myself and my other children? Understanding one another is probably one of the most basic, but most important elements of successful relationships – especially between parent and child. Jung’s personality types provide an excellent framework for understanding differences and similarities between parents and their children. By understanding these differences and similarities, parents can develop more effective ways to help their children grow and develop their unique gifts and overcome their challenges, while at the same time developing more supportive and secure relationships with them.
During this webinar, we will provide an overview of Jung’s different personality types. Special attention will be given to how these different types interact with the world, how they take in information and how they use this information to make decisions. The relevance of insight into your own and your child’s personality type will also be discussed. Practical guidelines will be provided to understand and parent your child more effectively.
