The workshop will focus on the central elements of running an effective private practice. Specifically, the workshop will cover topics including: (1) Marketing; (2) Financial Management and Accounting; (3) Referral Management; (4) Relations with Professional Bodies; (5) Negotiating, (6) Rooms; and (7) Insurance. The workshop is targeted at those new to private practice or considering establishing a new practice.
Central to the workshop outcomes will be the address of practical considerations regarding establishing a sustainable practice. At the end of the workshop participants should have a sound plan of action regarding each of the elements detailed above. The workshop will be practical and will emphasise discussion among the participants as individual plans of action are tailored.
What is included?
- A seven hour workshop emphasising the noted elements tailored to participants’ particular concerns.
- Individuals are advised to bring their personal laptops so as to facilitate the sharing and development of resources such as contract templates, Excel invoicing template, etc.
